Trigun Episode 24: Crime

It opens up with Legato and Midvalley getting out of a vehicle in some massive base. Chapel is there waiting for them. Chapel is very angry that Legato forced him kill Wolfwood. Chapel splits his cross into two guns and prepares to fire, but Legato easily takes him out. Knives walks through the door at that moment. Midvalley seems really suprised to see him, while Legato bows respectfully. Knives is puzzled over Chapel's return, and the two of them go into some analogies. Knives then kills Chapel by enveloping him in a sparking ball of black light. In Tonim Town, Millie is still sad over Wolfwood's death. Vash is preparing to leave, but Meryl won't let him go until he explains who this Knives person is. (She had overheard Vash and Wolfwood's previous conversation.) He explains to her all about his past, and why he must face his brother again. Millie tries to act cheerful and says they have to follow Vash or else they may loose him. But neither one of them can hide their sadness.
