Trigun Episode 25: Live Through

It has been ten days since Vash killed Legato. Vash was badly injured, so Meryl and Millie took him to a town 200 Iles south of LR where he slowly recovers. Vash is very depressed over killing Legato. While some people from LR came to drop off supplies, they spot Vash and recognize him. Later, a bunch of town people come and tie Vash up and drag him from a truck for doing all the horrible things that he's done. Vash just takes the abuse and the people begin to wonder if they have the wrong person. But Vash admits he is the humanoid typhoon, and that he does nothing but cause death and pain. In his mind, he really believes it. Millie and Meryl arrive and try to stop the townspeople.. In the end, Meryl convinces the townspeople to let Vash go using very similar tactics to what Rem used with Law in the flashback episode. Vash begins to see all the similarities between Rem and Meryl.
